What's better than a single tassel? Lots of tassels!
If you meditate or have a practice that involves some form of repetition, perhaps you'll understand when I explain what happened when I started making tassels. The process of wrapping the cotton cord, followed by wrapping the colors of cotton thread, became so repetitive that I would fall into a kind of flow state. A tassel-making zone, if you will. I planned to make a few tassels and ended up making... a lot of tassels.
No two tassels are the same. This is not just a reminder that they are hand-made, but a reminder to pause and look at each one. Each tassel, a mantra.
