Little Miss Sunshine is part of a small series that reminds me of playing with the My Little Pony toys I had as a kid. The thick cotton cord creates a playful fringe - it needs to be combed and brushed, then carefully trimmed. (Did you ever comb the tails and manes of My Little Ponies?)
Working on this piece cheered me up during a very down week. How could you not smile at the bright, happy colors? They're tied in tidy and snug clove hitches that create smiling rows over the smooth brushable cotton.
